The UnitexControls AHU Monitoring & Control Solution combines powerful hardware, wireless communication, and advanced integration options to provide precise and efficient Air Handling Unit (AHU) management.

At the heart of the solution is the Modulex-28 — an advanced controller featuring 28 I/O points, including 16 digital inputs, 8 binary outputs (BO), and 4 analog outputs (AO). All AHU points are physically connected to the Modulex-28, which serves as the central control unit for sensors, actuators, and operational logic.

A 4-inch full-touch, high-resolution display communicates wirelessly with the Modulex-28 via a 2.4 GHz point-to-point link using the proprietary Unitex Protocol. This enables real-time monitoring and control of all AHU parameters without requiring physical cabling between the control unit and the operator interface.

Through the wireless connection, operators can:

• View live AHU data
• Adjust operating parameters
• Issue control commands directly from the touchscreen

The Modulex-28 executes these commands instantly through its direct interface with the AHU’s field devices.

For broader integration, the controller supports both Modbus and BACnet protocols, ensuring seamless connectivity with third-party Building Management Systems (BMS). When internet access is available, the system can also connect to the Unitex Cloud, enabling remote monitoring and control from anywhere in the world.
